Jorge Kreimer was born in 1967, in Lima Peru. Lives and works in Los Angeles. He graduated BFA, mention in Theater from New York University, in 1989. Her nude photography, raw, unadorned and austere unabashedly reflect a deep respect for the model, or how Kreimer would say, “the collaborator”, ensure that the emotional intensity of each image remains intact, complete, and fully reflects both the photographer as to the model. Kreimer images shed any distracting ornament, are formidable testimonies and tributes to the strength of a singular emotion.
The debut exhibition Kreimer, CONCEPTUAL NATURALISM in Bruce Lurie Gallery in Los Angeles, in 2012, was soon followed by the Red Dot Miami Art Basel, and the Los Angeles Art Show and Palm Springs Art Show, then a second exhibition, AUSTERITY STYLISTIC in Bruce Lurie Gallery in February 2013.
Among the upcoming shows and exhibitions include THE LACEN PROJECT, in Los Angeles, from June to July of 2013, the Affordable Art Fair, New York and The Hampton’s Art Show, “THE WORLD, AS SOFT AS A LOOP is a group exhibition that will take place in Projects Fifi, Mexico City, in 2013; STYLISTIC AUSTERITY in the Aldo Chaparro Studio, in Mexico City, 2013, a group exhibition at the Gallery Impakto in Lima , Peru, August of 2013 and Art Miami Art Basel Miami in December 2013.
Kreimer´s work has been included in several private collections in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, London, and Lima. The third edition of his book, STYLISTIC AUSTERITY / CONCEPTUAL NATURALISM (2012), will be published in 2013.
